In these times of increased awareness coupled with the incessant bombardment of flashy media. We here at OpinionsMatter hope to offer a forum where all opinions will have a stage in which to be read and acknowledged. Day to day events both on the political home front as well as abroad, are being passed by without a single glance from the everyman. We will try and break down as many as these relevant issues as possible. We understand the impossibility of tuning into C-SPAN for 6 hrs a day to get the nitty gritty of American Politics. Only the most ardent caffeine addicted could sustain such an onslaught. We will post news and at times funny tidbits revolving around politics and the politicians that make them funny. Please feel free to post your opinions and engage in healthy debate. My co-founder and I certainly welcome the challenges. Thank you for visiting and we look forward to hearing from you!

Hello and welcome to all. This is who we are:
We are here to present multiple sides to multiple political issues. There should be no mistaking that we are a leftist political site. However, we certainly welcome anyone who wishes to express their similar or differing opinions, as long as the topic discussed is of reasoned and sound judgement. This is how we will sincerely attepmt to present ourselves, so why should we expect any less of a standard from you. Though we have no false illusions about how serious these political times are, a little humor may be used from time to time in our writings and postings. We will present the most pressing political topics of the day in the way in which we see them, and the way in which we would like to see them. Whenever possible, we will list sources used along with any commonly disputed factual data. Though a few of the topics discussed will simply present factual information, most topics will include our opinions of how we view the topic, along with factual information. We will try with the upmost effort to present our information with fairness, understanding, and respect, as long as we feel our conservative counterparts (i.e. The White House) are also dealing with the subject in an equal manner. Please, help us to make this a worthwhile and fun site. Who knows how long we'll last, but hopefully we can all learn something, and maybe we can even become a little more thoughtful and wiser.
